    What is dog agility?

  • Dog agility is a sport in which handlers guide their dogs through a timed obstacle course. Scoring is based off faults and the time it takes to complete the course. Dogs are off the leash and owners can only use vocal and body movement to guide the dog.
  • What are the most common types of obstacles?

  • I am out of shape; will I be able to keep up with my dog?

  • Yes but you will also have to do some training. Dog agility competition training is a great way to get into shape. Remember, you are the one who will be guiding your dog through the obstacle course.
  • Can I train my puppy for agility training?

  • Yes, but you have to take into consideration that puppies are vulnerable to high structures. It is best to train puppies with tunnels and down-sized versions of the see-saws.
